a nice little saturday...

no bed, bath & beyond, but we did hit up central park! i think the highlight of my day was our killer parking spot?! shout out to ed & tip...we were literally in front of your apt., too bad you guys were CT bound as i'm sure we'll never get that spot again!?

i should start off by excusing my hiatus...things were a bit hectic the past couple weeks between my mom's surgery, friends visiting, oh and let's not forget jack's teething. we're not sleeping or eating so well as of late.

i feel like he has grown up a bit in the last 2 weeks. he now holds his own sippy cup (he could have done this a while ago, but he's a bit lazy;), he is saying or screeching what we think is ma, ma and he now let's go while cruising to sit back down or crawl--his balance is amazing and it is only a matter of time before he's really mobile! i almost forgot one of the cutest new things he is doing...he offers you his food. it is so cute, even if it is a soggy cheerio!

he really has developed his own personality. he is very sure of himself, and for instance, when he is done with something (generally food), he's done so don't try and get him to eat anymore!

have i mentioned jack's obsession with the vacuum? he literally goes crazy when you start to vacuum! we think he might think its a game to try and catch it...

that's about where we are developmentally these days. jack will let go of either your hands or whatever he's cruising along and just stand for about 5 seconds...i think we're in trouble!? not only that but he has definitely found both his voice and attitude. when he's done eating, he'll let you know by either spitting it out or dumping everything onto the floor--so fun to clean up. i foresee charm school in his future;)

happy 10 months!

whoa! i cannot believe the little monkey is 10 months...i know i say this every time i post his "month" birthday, but he keeps growing so freaking fast!

quick update, the "da, da's" are still his favorite thing to say, currently his duck is his favorite toy (i could do without the duck--thanks mom--as the music has got to be in the top 10 of most annoying?!), he's loving all fruit these days (he tried orange honeydew today and loved it!) and his sleep, well you know how jack feels about sleep--it's for sissy's;)
