take that hurricane irene!

by about 10 am it was clear that the day would be verrrry long if i did not get both jack and daley outside at some point. that feeling of claustrophobia was slowing beginning to creep in, and so armed with rain jackets, hats and rain boots outside they went! to say they had fun would be a giant understatement. there was not only puddle jumping, but puddle diving as well...they had so much fun, the shape they were in at the end can definitely prove it!

jack and i also went to the track this week. he had so much fun, and had his first shake shack...i have fond memories of waiting on a ridiculous line in union square while pregnant with jack for one of those shakes!

and this is what you get when you ask a 4 year old to take a "nice" picture...the old adage, you can dress me up, but can't take me anywhere definitely applies here;)

lake george!

we went up to lake george for the day to visit some friends, and jack had a blast! he had so much fun jumping off the docks, on the boat, tubing and playing basketball with the "other" jack! it was such a beautiful day and i always forget how pretty it is up there.

we went to breakfast at the track yesterday morning to watch the horses workout, and after the library we headed over to see uncle greg at the farm. jack had a lot of fun and of course was "hamming" it up!

my aunt sent me this from the wedding, and it is just too hilarious not to share. further proof that jack is in fact a dancing machine! he had moves that we've never seen;)
