i'm getting older...

"ya know mom, i'm getting older-look at my legs, they're getting hairy!" you can not make this stuff up, he is too much. so not only does he come off like a little old man, but now he actually thinks he is an old man-lol. the conversations we have these days are too much.

he has also become so curious about things. yesterday's word of the day was "doubt." he was trying to figure out how to use it, and he kept asking us what it meant. i love that he is actually interested in learning what words mean and how he can use them in conversation. not to toot my own horn, but i think he got his love of vocabulary from me;)

tee balllllllllllll!

so hard to believe that jack is old enough to play tee ball, but alas he is and today was his first game!! you might ask how he can start with a game right off the bat, and my answer would be it's tee ball, who needs to actually understand the game-lol! imagine watching 14 kids (yes, all 14 are out on the field at once) tackle each other for a little white ball and then throw it haphazardly to first, or perhaps second, or wait was that third base? good times, and might i just say thank goodness they only play 2 lonnnnnnng innings! nevertheless, jack looks so cute in his uniform and was so excited he couldn't even take his nap (which of course led to a ridiculous meltdown at dinnertime, but i digress).
