a day in the life...

jack has had a lot of firsts the past week or so...he went in the pool for the first time (albeit a baby pool, but it still counts!), he's tried cherries, he pulled up on his own and he's on all fours (mike and i are on pins & needles--life will certainly change:).

he continues to get more and more animated. a lot more laughs and sounds are coming out of him these days! i have a whole bunch of pictures, most of which are random, but a lot of them catch his personality in action...

crazy nap hair...

mom, seriously stop taking pictures and fix my hair?!

not sure what to make of the pool...

i don't get it, usually i'm naked when i'm in the water;)

just looking cute!

i'm coming to get ya:)

practicing his yoga move: downward dog

look ma...you gotta do it like this

pulling up for the 1st time--actually the 2nd time, i missed the first time:(

i don't know why everyone's so excited, but i like it!

Hi Handsome,
I sure love to see you doing all those new tricks, Now we have to get busy and get the house ready so you cant get hurt..... You are starting to be a very busy boy.
I love to watch you grow. Everyone at work said you were the most beautiful baby and they can't wait to see you again. They ask about you everyday. Of course everyone of Gram's students knows all about you. I promise as you get bigger I won't tell them any of your secrets...But please don't grow so fast. I love having you just the way your are. I love to watch learn about things and watch you look at and try to figure out how things work.
My little man when you smile you make my heart melt, you have such goodness inside you and just a little mischief and alot of curiosity. You have the Irish gleam and charm that will break alot of hearts when you get older.
Uncle Greg and Uncle Tim said the house is too quiet now that you aren't here,we need you to come and entertain us. Bailey just mopes around and can't wait for you to drop food from your chair.

The big pool is ready and should be nice and warm the next time you visit... then daddy can really take you swimming and your cousins can come over to swim too.
OK I have to go to clean so rememebr to take long naps so you can get into lots of stuff and learn new tricks to show us.
Love you scuchie,,,XXOO;s.
