While Kris was at a baby shower on Saturday, Jack and I took MetroNorth into the city for a little getaway. He's showing interest lately in "choo choo" trains, a la Thomas, so we decided to take advantage of some nice weather and check out some sights.
Here he is on the platform. Notice the lethargic look on his face -- he chose not to nap prior to the trip. Perhaps the excitement got the best of him!?
"Um, Dad...are you sure this is Kosher? Mom would have Clorox wiped the seats first?"
"Say...since Mom's not here...would you mind if I took a nap on your lap for a while? I can never sleep when she's around..."
"...not yet, Dad -- can you just give me a few more minutes?"
"Horses say 'neigh, neigh,' right Dad? Now you're talking -- game on!"
"Play it again daddy-o, that's my jam! Do you know any Wiggles tunes? How about Yo Gabba Gabba? Anything? Seriously!?"
"Great day, Dad. Let's grab some 'street meat' for the road at catch the next train outta town. It's time for me to nurse!"
