we did power through the day though and make our best attempt at celebrating st. patrick! in keeping with all things green, there were shamrock pb & j sandwiches, green milk, pesto with ravioli (we obviously skipped the traditional corned beef and cabbage;) and jack helped make yummy st. patty's cupcakes--which he wasn't too sick to eat i might add!
funny little aside...when i was explaining st. patrick's day to jack on tuesday, his response was "i don't want st. patrick to come. i'm gonna stick him in the woods, i'm gonna stick st. patrick in the woods." he said it so deadpan. i have no idea where he got that from!? he's too much:)

Oh my gosh, I can just hear Jack saying that with that gruff little voice of his! Too cute. Good thing you have that one written down.
Hope he feels better soon! Lots of colds/viruses going around up here, too. Hope it's the end of it for awhile!
