i know i've mentioned that jack has two imaginary friends. they come and go. sometimes they're in mexico(know idea where he came up with this), often times they can be found during their "running" races, but most recently they might have made my most favorite appearance...
*quick back story: greg took jack out to dinner one night. when it came time to be seated, the conversation went as follows;
jack: (whispering as they're about to be seated) can we have that table for four over there?
greg: why?
jack: yeah, we needs seats for eric and schroeder.
greg: (as i imagine it since i wasn't there, trying to hide laughter) uh, uh...
jack: oh never mind, they brought their own chairs.
i'm am still chuckling thinking about this going down. who knew having kids would be so fun! the fact that he takes it so seriously is what kills me!?

Oh Jack,
You are such a joy. You have been spending a lot of time with us this summer and I can't tell you how much we enjoy your company.
You never cease to amaze us with your witty comments or your insightful questions and suggestions.
You are always so thoughtful of others especially your brother and sister. If you get something you always ask or suggest that Daley should get something as well.
This week you have been swimming and diving like a fish in the pool. As I watched you play with Daley I couldn't help but laugh because the 2 of you had on swim gogles and you were making up a game and using the walkie talkies to communicate with each other. Then you would pass Finn while he was in the swing and you would stop and tell Finn that he had to get the bad guys. You treated him just like he could play and he looked at you and shrieked and laughed. It made my heart sing as I watched you and Daley running and playing so nicely with each other. You have great imaginations.
Then later on you told me I could play golf with you and you told Apa that he should let me use his new golf swing practice club and go to the driving range so I could play with him and all the guys when we go to HH. You are so encouraging and helpful. I love you so very much and than God for everyday that I am with you.
You have an abundance of energy and a great love of sports and playing games. It's a pleasure to have you visit, you keep us young and on our toes.
You are my BFF and I love you like crazy cakes. Can't wait to go to the beach with you and build sandcastles, swim, walk on the beach and search for shells.
We will have a great time.
Never change, and your mom and dad are doing a great job, you are an awesome young man with wonderful manners.I am very proud of you.
