molars, ga ga & eeeeeeeeee...

so our past week has definitely been a trying one. jack's molars are taking their toll on all of us at the moment. between the night-wakings and general fussiness, we're all pretty tired these days! thankfully the bottom left one has broken through, and the others aren't too far behind. um, they could hurry up though!

ga, ga and others sounds have become part of his constant babble these days. he makes all of these sounds, but sadly no real words other than dad. and if that's not bad enough, when you ask him to say mama, he says daddddeeee....ugh!

he has also recently reached new octaves with his voice...i mean there are some serious shrieks these days. they especially come out when it is time for bed/naps...i've never heard such a huge sound come out of such a little body!?

speaking of bed/naps...i'm not even going to go there. it is a constant struggle with him and always has been. we'll have a beautiful week of sleep, and then bam out of no where he is back to screaming when it's time to go down and waking 2+ x/night. i know molars are playing a part in this, but he has also become a tad manipulative...who would of thought that a 15 month old would know how to work the system, but i gotta say he does quite a nice job of it--he knows that mom cannot bear to hear him cry like that! and so it begins...i predict years of manipulation--wink, wink;)

ironically he wore these to bed on a night he decided to be up at 4am for the day...he looks pretty dissheveled and we will not be wearing this to bed any longer!

just being a goof-ball during snack...he loves to make this "all teeth" smile these days:)

mid-clap, just hanging in his sled...he loves to just sit in it
