here's a brief synopsis of how our day went...
happy birthday buddy!
"umm, mom, really? don't you think its a little early for flash? i mean you're not even focusing properly!?"
here's jack getting ready to run and give me a big morning hug...
whoa, wait a minute, there are presents?!
birthday balloons for everyone!
breakfast time..."# 2" shaped french toast:)
9:30 am: "fed ex guy buzzes" nope...surprise, its uncle greg!
birthday cake!!!!!!
(or in this case, cupcake)
ooh....
he insisted he needed a spoon...even i was prepared to let him make a mess, but alas he has learned some manners;)
milk break
(or as mike would put it, "milky cabrera" break!)
cheeeeeese
and just to put things into perspective...

when i put jack to bed tonight, we said our prayers, and he asked to say a prayer for his birthday cake! it made me realize that for him, all he needed was a cupcake to make the day feel special. oh to be two again:)
