do we have enough ice?
we had our first "snowfall" this week. if you can call a half inch of actual snow accumulation!? on the eve of the fall, i surprised jack and let him head out after dinner with mike to play some hockey (it was way too cold to take little d out during the day, but jack was dying to play in the snow). they had so much fun! jack associated the snow as "ice" for the game (hockey, of course!). so now he is always asking if we have enough "ice?" to play!? he is just too cute.

Hi My Little Man,
Hope you are having a nice day. I asked God to make it snow for you so you can play hockey. He told me he will try to deliver it for Christmas.
I have your net and sticks all ready so we can play. Too bad Uncle Tim isn't making a rink on the side of the house this year. But when you get older he will show you how to make one, then you and Daley can skate everyday.
I cant wait to see you and Daley. I sure do miss you. When you get here we will have lots of fun.Give mommy and daddy a big hug for me. Don't forget Daddy has a birthday this week....
